CommVault and McAfee recently announced a worldwide sales teaming agreement and the integration of our two flagship software products, Simpana and ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO). The worldwide sales teaming agreement is designed to align our respective sales teams where data management, data protection and security purchasing decisions converge.
McAfee’s ePO has shipped to over 35,000 customers and manages over 57M nodes worldwide. The integration provides the McAfee ePO with information regarding the status of protected data under CommVault control. Using a free connector software provided by CommVault, information related to data protection reporting is shared within a custom ePO dashboard to synthesize reporting efficiencies and provide ease of use for administrators to monitor multiple systems at the same time.
By partnering, CommVault and McAfee jointly recognize the value intrinsic in offering integrated solutions that share data between CommVault and McAfee. And this is only the beginning.
